About Me
I am excited to volunteer my time as a DDF Instructor, bringing my lifelong passion for dance and cultural artistry to the community. My dance journey began in India, where I received formal training in Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Contemporary, Fusion, and Bollywood. These foundations shaped my style and enriched my understanding of rhythm, expression, and storytelling through movement.
My professional path expanded with four transformative years as an Assistant Choreographer at Zee, where I contributed to stage productions, student training programs, and creative direction. These experiences deepened my ability to teach diverse groups, create impactful choreography, and nurture dancers at every level.
Teaching Style & Philosophy
I bring a unique blend of discipline, creativity, and vibrant energy to every class. My goal is to create a supportive, joyful, and expressive environment where students feel confident exploring movement and connecting with culture. I believe dance is a powerful medium—one that builds confidence, shapes identity, and encourages self-expression. My teaching approach emphasizes strong technique paired with artistic freedom, allowing students not just to learn steps, but to grow as individuals. Each class is designed to be meaningful, memorable, and filled with inspiration—helping every student shine in their own unique way.
