Frequently Asked Questions

What is the DDF Natarang Programs?
The Natarang Foundation Program is a structured 6-12 month performing arts curriculum delivered across two semesters. The program is designed to build a strong theatrical foundation by developing skills in dance, acting, stage presence, storytelling, character development, expression, and overall performance techniques. The curriculum is ideal for individuals who want to grow as well-rounded performers while gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the performing arts.
Who is this program designed for?
The program is designed for aspiring performers of all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to build confidence or an experienced dancer seeking to expand into acting, storytelling, and stage performance, the curriculum provides structured training to help you grow as a versatile performing artist. No prior theater experience is required. A willingness to learn, participate, and collaborate is the most important requirement.
How do I enroll in the program?
Students will register through the DDF website. Registration details, class schedules, tuition fees, and payment information will be shared during the enrollment process. Monthly tuition payments will be processed through the DDF enrollment system and are subject to DDF policies.
Do I need to submit an audition or previous work before joining?
Yes. Prospective students may be asked to submit an audition video or examples of previous dance or performance experience. This helps instructors understand each student's skill level, strengths, and interests so they can provide appropriate guidance and training recommendations.
How are students assigned to dance styles or performance groups?
Based on the student's background, audition materials, and instructor assessment, students may be guided toward specific dance styles, training pathways, or performance groups that best match their abilities and growth goals.
What will I learn during the program?
Students will receive training in a variety of performing arts disciplines, including: • Dance techniques and movement training • Acting fundamentals • Stage presence and confidence building • Storytelling and character development • Facial expressions and performance skills • Team collaboration and production preparation • Performance and presentation techniques The curriculum is designed to help students become confident and versatile performers.
How is student progress evaluated?
Student growth is monitored through a structured evaluation process. Instructors will assess students across various performance parameters and provide regular feedback. One-on-one progress discussions will be conducted approximately every two months, and progress reports may be shared to help students understand their strengths, areas for improvement, and overall development.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. Students who successfully complete the curriculum requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of each curriculum phase.
Will there be auditions during the program?
Yes. Around the fourth month of the program, students may participate in auditions, evaluations, or placement reviews to help determine suitable performance opportunities and production roles. These assessments are intended to support student growth and help align performers with roles that best match their skills and interests.
What performance opportunities are available after completing the program?

These opportunities may include: • Theatrical productions • Dance showcases • Competitions • Cultural events • Community performances • Digital content projects • Advanced performance teams Completion of the program does not guarantee a specific role or casting position, but it prepares students for future performance opportunities.
Will teens and adults be taught together?
Class structures may vary based on enrollment, age groups, skill levels, and curriculum requirements. The instructional team will ensure that teaching methods, content delivery, and expectations are appropriate for the students participating in each class. Additional class divisions may be created when necessary to provide the best learning experience.
Are there additional fees for performances?
Participation in productions, showcases, competitions, or special events may require additional fees beyond regular tuition. These fees may include: • Performance participation fees • Costumes • Props • Production expenses • Competition registrations • Event-related costs Details will be communicated in advance whenever applicable.
Can I discontinue the program if it is not the right fit for me?
